Ten meetings have been held during the year at the Walmer Bridge Village Hall.
Walmer Bridge entered the Lancashire Best Kept Village Competition and was placed 6th out of 8 entries in the Champion Village section.
Walmer Green Gardens won the community award for the best community gardens in Western Parishes.
The extension to the ballpark area at the Recreation ground has been completed.
Four pieces of outdoor gym equipment have been purchased and are in place at the Dob Lane recreation ground.
“Tommy” an aluminium structure to commemorate the end of the First World War, was purchased and is situated at the front of the Village Hall.
Donations and payments were made to the following;
Royal British Legion - £60 and £150 for wreathes and lamp post poppies
Village Christmas tree - Donation of £250
Walmer Bridge Burial ground - £150
Hoole St Michael church - £350
The Parish Council contributed to the refurbishment of Walmer Bridge Village Hall.
