Footbridge to be replaced over brook between Walmer Bridge Village Hall & the Recreation Ground 1st to 3rd Feb 2023

South Ribble Borough Council will be installing the new replacement footbridge that crosses the stream to the south of the village hall next week i.e. the footbridge over the brook between the Walmer Bridge Village Hall and the Recreation Ground.   They are hoping to start the installation on Wednesday morning 1st Feb 2023, and will hopefully be finished by the end of the day on Friday 3 Feb 2023.  Therefore, the footpath access between Gill Lane and Dob Lane will be inaccessible during these dates.
